Division of Cyclotron Nuclear Medicine was established in 1987 as a division of the Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center (CYRIC), Tohoku University. Its primary aim is to promote medical research using PET (Positron Emission Tomography). It is associated with Graduate School of Medicine in Tohoku University and accepts both domestic and foreign students/researchers. Both Master's and Doctoral courses are given.
There are various research projects currently running in collaboration with several departments of Graduate School of Medicine as well as with departments in other faculties.
